how WE can help
Sex therapy helps you discover why and what next.
We will approach your struggle (and your strengths!) with curiosity and get to the core of your difficulties. Many times, sexual symptoms can signal an imbalance in other parts of your life such as work and personal relationships, or mixed feelings about your own beliefs and desires.
During the first few sessions, we will ask you some open-ended questions about all parts of your life to discover what’s going on.
You may feel vulnerable initially, but our pace, what you disclose and how we approach solutions and strategies is up to you.

Common questions about sex therapy
-
Both individuals and couples can benefit from sex therapy, as the process is focused on discovering your own needs and wants, communication strategies, and expanding your knowledge of self and sexuality in general.
-
Great question! Your insurance plan might cover sex therapy if you have a diagnosable “sexual dysfunction” (e.g. pelvic pain, erectile disorder, rapid ejaculation or lack of arousal/interest).
Because our practice is an out-of-network provider, you would still be responsible for paying the full session fee at the time of service. We can provide you with receipts if you would like to explore potential reimbursement from your health plan afterwards. -
We make getting started with therapy easy. All you need to do is complete the contact form on our website to schedule a free 15-minute phone consult and explore whether we’re the right match.
